Software Title

We produce, publish, market and sell numerical software for teaching, research and applications. Our pedagogical software consists of source codes written by specialists, with the main purpose of clearly presenting the numerical methods used and thus aid associated teaching, learning and research activities.

All the software is documented in authoritative books written by the programmers themselves and is supported by the authors. Our library NUMERICA consists of 51 source codes for solving hyperbolic conservation laws using a broad range of modern high-resolution numerical methods, including Godunov-type upwind schemes and also centred TVD methods. Version 1.0 is available now.

Future developments of NUMERICA will be based on an increasing number of selected contributors, to encompass a broader range of mathematical problems, numerical methods used and fields of applications.
